I have come to realize that almost everyone I went to high school with, now has children. My first friend when I moved to Des Moines, Janelle, has two children and is married. Another girl I went to elementary school with also has two children. Zach and Ali had Kiona, Nyle and Emily have Kam....And I won't list off the other people I've seen on Facebook with children....it's starting to make me wonder if I'm the one who hasn't grown up as fast as the rest of them....I have a job....I have a place...and a car....but no kids...and unmarried. Granted, I'll BE married in less than 8 months...but why does it seem like the "thing" is to be having kids at this age??? Am I crazy???
Don't get me wrong...I'd love a baby...but I just don't think I'm ready...so we're waiting...at LEAST until we're married.
