Things have been quite busy lately. All day today, my landlord was in and out of my apartment, showing it to strange people with odd hairstyles and who smelled of smoke and cheap whisky. She must be terribly distraught that I'm leaving...
GizGiz of course, made a point of harassing everyone who came through the door...following them...meowing at them and such. My landlord thought it cute, however I felt somewhat bad about her behavior.
I've been looking for furniture to take to the new apartment...call me crazy but I'd rather not have these brown, ripped up monstrosities taking up my living room anymore... so I'll be throwing them out and replacing them with a nicer looking couch.
I also need a new bed. The one I have is from Kale's brother..not that there is anything wrong with that...I just can't help but wonder what sorts of nasty little bacteria are floating around in there..with it being so old and all.
So yes..I need a bed...an entertainment center, couches, and also a smaller bed or futon for the second bedroom in case we have guests with us.
I'm not sure when we'll be getting everything...money is a bit tight at the moment..which is why I've heavily considered picking up a second job. I'll be applying at a few places within the next week or so....I hope it's only temporary, but we'll see. I need health insurance, as well.
Kale's birthday was yesterday, and for it, I purchased a laptop for him. :) He loves it.....
(He just made brownies...time to...well..eat one..lol)
